Diagnostic Test

CHECK BATTERY CONNECTION
1. Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the battery.
  Are there any loose or damaged connections?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK PCM-2 POWER SUPPLY FUSE OPERATION
1. Check the correct operation of the fuse F9-7.5A in the front engine compartment PDC.
  Is Fuse F9-7.5A intact?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Replace fuse F9-7.5A in the engine compartment PDC.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK ASD/MAIN RELAY OPERATION
1. Check the correct operation of the ASD/Main Relay F9-7.5A in the front engine compartment PDC.
  Is the ASD/Main Relay F9-7.5A operating properly?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 4
  No
  - Replace the ASD/Main Relay F9-7.5A in the front engine compartment PDC.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK PCM-2 OPERATION
1. Check that the PCM-2 is working properly.
  Is the PCM-2 operating properly?
  
  Yes
  - End of diagnosis.
  No
  - Replace the PCM-2.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
