Diagnostic Test

CHECK CONNECTIONS ON CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR AND PCM-2
1. Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the Crankcase Pressure Sensor or on the PCM-2.
  Are there any loose or damaged connections?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK WIRING BETWEEN CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR (K302) AND PCM-2
1. Check the wiring for an open circuit or high resistance between the Crankcase Pressure Sensor (K302) and PIN 102 of the connector on the vehicle side of the PCM-2.
  Is there a high resistance or open condition in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the open circuit or high resistance in the wiring.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
CHECK WIRING BETWEEN CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR (K302) AND PCM-2
1. Check for a short circuit in the wiring between the Crankcase Pressure Sensor (K302) and PIN 102 of the connector on the vehicle side of the slave PCM-2.
  Is there a short circuit in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the short circuit in the wiring.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 4
CHECK OPERATION OF CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR
1. Check that the Crankcase Pressure Sensor is working properly.
  Is the operation incorrect of Crankcase Pressure Sensor?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Crankcase Pressure Sensor.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
